Fallout 2287 - Gas Masks of the Wastelands

Fallout 2287 - Gas Masks of the Wast wasteland is a unique game mod which adds an ongoing resource to the game: gas mask filters. The mod provides a whole new resource for high-end survival: collecting and using the various gas mask filters throughout the Commonwealth. It also adds an element of variety and challenge to a game which can often be predictable and boring. This mod was created by D1v1ne, a veteran of the game who has worked on dozens of mods for previous games such as Arma 3, Age of Conan, Arma: Gold, and Age of Empire.

I really enjoyed Fallout 2287 - Gas Masks of the Wast wasteland because it adds an interesting element to an otherwise uninspired game. I don't mean to compare it to the best games out there, but it does have its own strong points. The mod notes explain that this mod adds more than 40 new recipes, which is quite the statement given the fact that Fallout Shelter only has thirty recipes. This is quite impressive considering the fact that there were only thirty recipes in the base game!

A couple other things about this mod that impressed me (and probably other players) are the console commands and the fact that you actually have a gun in the game instead of only relying on the nukes and energy weapons. I'm not sure if this mod adds anything ground breaking, but the fact that you have a gun in the game is a big plus. Another thing that I like is the fact that the mod adds a lot more variety to your character. With all of the different masks and disguises available, there is something for everyone. Between the recipes, the new weapons and armor, and the ability to throw really cool sticky traps, you should have hours of fun playing this game with this mod!
